Dr Reddy's Laboratories is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they wanted to spread awareness about its prevalence which can be prevented through the ABC approach- Activity and Exercise, Balanced and Low-Fat Diet, and Conscious Weight Management.
For them, we created a series of social media posts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The aim of this month-long campaign, held annually in October, was to increase awareness about the widespread impact of breast cancer.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories, an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company, approached us to create a series of social media posts aimed towards Breast Cancer Awareness month. The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of this prevalent disease. The client wanted to raise awareness through these social media posts, which would clearly and impactfully talk about how Breast Cancer is prevalent and can be prevented through the ABC approach- Activity and Exercise, Balanced and Low-Fat Diet, and Conscious Weight Management.
The idea behind creating the social media posts was to showcase the importance of prevention and raise awareness about the impact of Breast Cancer. To design these posts, we incorporated the colour pink, which represents the 'Pink Ribbon' signifying Breast Cancer. For the design, we followed an illustrative approach and hence we drew women representing diversity and that no matter f ram where or whom, breast cancer is a disease that can affect anyone. In the background, we showcased circles which were a part of the brand guidelines and further represent the curves of the breast.
The social media posts we created had an immense impact on the audience, and they also catered to all the key requirements of the client. It attracted great traction on social media platforms, leading to increased followers on their social media channels. The clients were pleased with our design, concept and quick turnaround time.
